An Account Manager (Government/Enterprise) drives revenue growth, manages high-value relationships, and secures contract renewals within large-scale public sector or corporate clients. They serve as a trusted advisor, developing strategic plans to penetrate accounts, leading complex sales cycles, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **Relationship Management:** Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders (C-level executives, IT managers, government officials) to build long-term trust.
* **Revenue Growth & Sales:** Develop and execute strategic account plans to hit sales, upsell, and cross-sell targets.
* **Contract Lifecycle Management:** Manage the entire sales cycle from identifying prospects to closing, including negotiating contracts and tenders.
* **Strategic Planning:** Analyze market dynamics, competition, and customer business objectives to create tailored solutions.
* **Client Advocacy:** Ensure client issues are resolved promptly by collaborating with internal product and technical teams.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
* **Experience:** Proven experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, particularly in Enterprise or Public Sectors.
* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technical, or a related field.
* **Skills:** Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* **Domain Knowledge:** Understanding of government procurement processes or complex, long-cycle enterprise sales
