Accountant

**Job Title:** Accountant (Tally & VAT Filing – Contracting Company) **Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE **Job Type:** Full-Time **Industry:** Contracting / Construction **Experience:** 2–4 Years **Salary:** AED 2,000 – 2,500 per month **Joining:** Immediate (Mandatory) **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in Tally and advanced Excel skills, along with solid knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, to join our contracting company in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will manage daily accounting operations, financial records, VAT filing, reporting activities, and client/vendor communications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Record daily financial transactions using Tally * Maintain ledgers, journal entries, and perform bank reconciliations * Handle VAT calculations, filing, and compliance * Manage accounts payable and receivable * Prepare reports using **MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)** * **Send professional emails for invoices, statements, and payment follow-ups** * **Submit invoices and follow up with clients on due payments** * **Track outstanding payments and ensure timely collection** * Assist in monthly and annual financial reporting * Support cost tracking and financial analysis * Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely documentation **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 2–4 years of relevant experience (contracting/construction preferred) * Strong proficiency in Tally (mandatory) * **Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting)** * **Good email communication skills (professional correspondence & follow-ups)** * Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines **Benefits:** * As per UAE Labour Law Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
