Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated **Accountant** with advanced knowledge of ZOHO and strong communication skills to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to manage accounts efficiently and follow up with clients professionally. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accountant Responsibilities: Reconcile bank statements Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable Prepare invoices, statements of accounts, and record supplier invoices Analyze transactions, prepare journal entries, and maintain the ledger Prepare Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and other financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) File VAT returns in compliance with UAE Law Assist with external audits Perform bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable, vendor reconciliation, and daily entries Handle petty cash transactions, documentation, and reconciliation Utilize advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, and data analysis functions HR Responsibilities: Maintain employee records and update HR files. Assist in recruitment processes, including CV screening and interview scheduling. Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other HR documentation. Monitor attendance, leave records, and overtime. Handle employee grievances and support in disciplinary procedures. Administrative Tasks: Manage office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. Liaise with PRO for visa, medical, Emirates ID, and labor card processes. Coordinate with other departments and handle document control. Maintain company licenses, insurances, and other legal documentation. Support management in organizing meetings, events, and company communications. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (experience in Fitout, Construction, Retail, FMCG etc industry is preferred) Knowledge of UAE VAT and excise tax regulations is essential Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Currently based in the UAE Language: Hindi, English (Required) Job Type: Full-time Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: UAE: 5 years (Required) Language: English, Hindi (Required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * UAE Accounting : 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
