Accountant

We are a well-established MEP contracting company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to independently manage the full accounting cycle of the organization. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain and manage complete company accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations * Handle project-wise costing, WIP tracking, and profitability analysis for MEP contracts * Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports * Conduct regular internal audits to detect irregularities, discrepancies, and unauthorized transactions * Manage VAT filing, compliance, and FTA submissions * Process payroll, WPS, gratuity provisions, and leave salary accruals * Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit * Manage supplier and subcontractor payment schedules and retention tracking * Operate and maintain records on ERP software (experience with construction/contracting ERP systems is essential) * Handle trade license renewals, insurance, and bank guarantee documentation from a finance perspective **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce * Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant in a UAE-based contracting or construction company * Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Pact, or similar) * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA portal * Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting) * Ability to work independently and manage the accounts function end-to-end * Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for identifying financial irregularities * Familiarity with WPS payroll processing and MOHRE/immigration cost tracking **What We Offer** * Salary: AED 4,500/month (all-inclusive package) * Employment visa provided by the company * Stable, long-term position in a growing MEP firm Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
