Accountant

**Job Summary** We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Riyadh in a full-time, hybrid role. This role is suited for someone who can take ownership of accounting functions with a high level of independence, while maintaining accuracy, structure, and financial discipline across the business. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with accounting systems (preferably Wafeq), and a good understanding of Zakat, VAT, and financial compliance in Saudi Arabia. ⸻ **Key Responsibilities** * Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping * Prepare and maintain financial records and reports * Handle invoicing, collections, and reconciliations * Ensure compliance with Zakat, VAT, and local regulations * Manage accounts payable and receivable * Coordinate with external accountants/auditors when needed * Maintain accurate documentation and financial tracking * Support budgeting and basic financial planning * Use accounting systems efficiently (Wafeq preferred) ⸻ **Required Skills & Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Relevant experience in accounting (2–5 years preferred) * Strong understanding of accounting principles * Experience with Wafeq accounting system or similar systems * Good knowledge of Zakat, VAT, and Saudi financial regulations * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Strong communication skills (Arabic & English important) ⸻ **Work Structure** * Full-time position * Riyadh-based Job Type: Full-time Pay: ﷼3,000.00 - ﷼3,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
