We are currently seeking an **Accountant** who is both meticulous and innovative to support our financial operations and contribute to our growth. Responsibilities: Transaction Management: - Record and verify daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. - Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our accounting system. Financial Reconciliation and Reporting: - Perform regular bank reconciliations and assist in maintaining an accurate general ledger. - Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. - Assist in audit preparations and compliance documentation in line with UAE accounting standards. Record Keeping: - Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation. - Manage and archive sensitive financial documents, ensuring they are accessible for auditing and review. Process Improvement: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve workflow efficiencies. - Identify and communicate potential areas for cost savings or process enhancements. Regulatory Compliance: - Stay updated on UAE financial regulations and accounting standards. - Ensure all financial practices adhere to local regulatory requirements and internal policies. Qualifications: Educational Background: - Master or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: - A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally within a dynamic corporate environment. Technical Proficiency: - Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and strong Microsoft Excel skills. - Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations is an advantage. Skills and Attributes: - Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical abilities. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an eagerness to collaborate within a team.
