Accountant

**Role Overview** You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust cost control processes across raw materials, production batches, and finished products. You will work closely with operations, procurement, and management to ensure full visibility and control over costs, margins, and variances. **Key Responsibilities** * Cost Control & Analysis * Track and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS) across all formulations and batches * Identify variances between theoretical vs actual consumption * Build and maintain cost sheets for all products * Inventory & Stock Management * Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory * Reconcile physical vs system stock and investigate discrepancies * Implement tighter controls on stock usage and wastage * Batch-Level Financial Tracking * Align production data with financial records * Track cost per batch, per product, and per client where relevant * Flag inefficiencies and leakages in real time * Reporting & Controls * Prepare weekly/monthly cost reports and margin analysis * Develop dashboards for management visibility * Establish internal controls to prevent loss, misuse, or misreporting * Process Improvement * Design and implement structured tracking systems (Excel/ERP) * Work directly with operations to improve accuracy in data capture * Drive a culture of accountability across teams **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 3–6+ years of experience, with a strong focus on cost control / cost accounting * Prior experience in pharmaceutical, compounding, manufacturing, or healthcare is strongly preferred * Strong command of Excel (advanced level required) * Experience with inventory systems / ERP is a plus * Detail-oriented with a low tolerance for errors or ambiguity * Comfortable working in an operational, fast-moving environment **What We’re Looking For** * Someone who takes ownership and does not just reports problems, but fixes them * Structured thinker who can bring order to messy data and processes * Direct communicator who can hold teams accountable when needed * A professional who values accuracy, discipline, and clarity over noise **Why Join Us** * Be part of a growing, high-potential healthcare operation * Work directly with management and have a visible impact on the business * Opportunity to build systems from the ground up and shape financial operations Work Location: In person
