Accountant - Gold & Diamond Jewelry

We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Accountant** with a strong background in the **Gold & Diamond / Jewelry industry** within the UAE. The ideal candidate must be familiar with local regulations, VAT compliance, and industry-specific inventory and costing practices. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage end-to-end accounting functions (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger) * Gold purchase & payment entries ( 22k, 18k & 24k) * Maintain accurate accounting records for gold, diamonds, and jewelry inventory * Perform stock reconciliation (physical vs system) on a regular basis * Handle gold rate fluctuations, bullion transactions, and costing adjustments * Ensure proper valuation based on gold purity (karat) and diamond grading * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT regulations (FTA requirements)** * Assist with VAT filing and documentation * Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes * Maintain proper documentation for suppliers, imports, and local purchases **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Minimum **3 years of UAE experience in the Gold & Diamond / Jewelry industry (mandatory)** * Strong knowledge of gold pricing, karat calculations, and diamond valuation * Familiarity with UAE VAT laws and filing procedures * Experience with accounting systems * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in bullion trading or jewelry manufacturing * Knowledge of UAE compliance standards and audit requirements * Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or wholesale environment **Employment Details:** * Employment Type: Full-time * Benefits: As per UAE Labour Law (Visa, Medical Insurance, Annual Leave, Gratuity) **Joining: Immediate or within short notice preferred** **How to Apply:** Send your updated CV to: Whatsapp **+971558704129** Subject Line: ***Accountant – Gold & Diamond*** Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person
