Accountant (Marine Industry Experience Required)

**Job Title:** Accountant (Marine Industry Experience Required) **Location:** United Arab Emirates **Experience Required:** Minimum 2+ Years (UAE Experience Preferred) **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with at least 2 years of professional experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working within a marine or shipping company and possess strong knowledge of accounting practices relevant to the industry. **Key Responsibilities:** * Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and reconciliations * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently * Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow * Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT requirements * Assist with audits and financial reviews * Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders * Monitor budgeting and forecasting activities **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience in the UAE * Mandatory experience in a marine, shipping, or offshore company * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Good communication skills in English **Preferred Qualifications:** * Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage * Experience handling multi-currency transactions and international clients **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary based on experience * Opportunity to grow within a specialized industry * Professional and supportive work environment **How to Apply:** Interested candidates who meet the above criteria are encouraged to submit their CV along with a cover letter highlighting relevant marine industry experience.
