Accounts Officer

**Job Title:** Accounts Officer **Location:** Business Bay , Dubai **Job Type:** Full-Time **Salary : AED 4000 - AED 5000** **About the Role:** We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations, including FTA compliance and VAT (GST) requirements. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting audits and reporting. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial statements * Handle **GST compliance**, including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and reconciliations * Manage **UAE VAT filings** in accordance with **Federal Tax Authority (FTA)** regulations * Prepare and submit VAT returns across Middle East jurisdictions (if applicable) * Perform VAT/GST reconciliations and ensure proper input/output tax treatment * Ensure timely tax filings and payments to avoid penalties * Monitor updates in **GST and VAT laws** and implement necessary changes * Assist with corporate tax computations and filings (UAE or India, if applicable) * Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities * Manage accounts payable/receivable and general ledger activities * Support internal and external audits with proper documentation * Maintain organized records for tax and compliance purposes **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 2–3 years of accounting experience with exposure to **GST and UAE/Middle East VAT** * Strong working knowledge of **GST return filing** and **FTA VAT filing procedures** * Familiarity with accounting and ERP software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) * Good understanding of cross-border taxation and compliance * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills * Ability to manage multiple deadlines and jurisdictions **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) * Experience handling **VAT audits and GST assessments** * Knowledge of **UAE Corporate Tax** * Experience working in multi-country or group companies **Soft Skills** * Attention to detail * Time management and organization * Problem-solving ability **How to Apply:** Interested candidates can apply by submitting their **resume** to [email protected] , [email protected] Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
