Accounts Payable Accountant

The Role Join our dynamic construction company in Dubai as an Accounts Payable Accountant. You will play a crucial role in managing our payables process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and supporting the finance team in maintaining financial compliance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: - Manage and process all accounts payable transactions accurately and on time. - Verify, code, and reconcile invoices and expense reports. - Ensure timely payment to vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships. - Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies and issues. - Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports related to accounts payable activities. - Assist in month-end closing and financial audits related to accounts payable. - Collaborate with other departments to streamline payment processes and improve financial operations. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant, preferably in the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. - Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a team environment. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and VAT is desirable.
