**Location :** Riyadh, Saudi Arabia **Industry:** Real Estate / Large Assets / Construction **Availability:** Immediate **Role Overview** The **AI & Data Science Expert** designs and deploys data-driven and AI-powered solutions for **large real estate assets and construction projects**. The role focuses on **operational value**, not theoretical models. This position supports developers, asset owners, and operators in leveraging data across the **full asset lifecycle**: design, construction, commissioning, operations, and optimization of large and complex assets (districts, malls, campuses, infrastructure portfolios). **Key Responsibilities** **AI & Data Strategy** * Define AI and data strategies aligned with **real estate and construction business objectives**. * Identify high-value use cases: predictive maintenance, energy optimization, space utilization, cost and schedule forecasting, safety analytics, asset performance optimization. * Translate business and operational needs into **data models and AI use cases**. **Data Architecture & Analytics** * Design data architectures integrating BIM, GIS, IoT, BMS, CMMS, ERP, and operational systems. * Structure and manage large, heterogeneous datasets coming from construction sites and operating assets. * Ensure data quality, governance, and interoperability across platforms. **AI Model Development & Deployment** * Develop, train, and validate machine learning and AI models applicable to real estate and construction environments. * Deploy AI solutions that are **scalable, explainable, and operationally usable**. * Work with IT and platform teams to integrate models into production systems and dashboards. **Construction & Asset Lifecycle Integration** * Support AI-driven decision-making during design, construction, and operations. * Analyse construction performance (cost, schedule, productivity, risk). * Enable asset operators with predictive and prescriptive analytics. **Stakeholder & Project Support** * Work closely with project managers, engineers, asset managers, and operators. * Support tenders, RFPs, and technology evaluations with AI and data expertise. * Present insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. **Required Profile** **Background & Experience** * Proven experience as a **Data Scientist / AI Expert** in **real estate, construction, infrastructure, or large asset environments**. * Direct exposure to **construction projects, asset operations, or large portfolios** is mandatory. * Experience working with complex, imperfect, real-world data (not clean academic datasets). **Technical Skills** * Strong expertise in: + Machine learning and applied AI + Data engineering and analytics pipelines + Time-series analysis and predictive modelling * Experience with BIM, digital twins, IoT data, or building systems is a strong advantage. * Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and scalable architectures. **Business & Operational Mindset** * Ability to link AI outcomes to **cost reduction, performance improvement, and asset value**. * Comfortable working with engineers, construction teams, and operations staff. * Pragmatic, delivery-focused, capable of moving from prototype to deployment. **Job Category:** Construction Large Assets Real Estate **Job Type:** Engineering Management **Job Location:** Riyadh Saudi Arabia
