**ob Title: AutoCAD Draftsman – Metal Division** **Location:** UAE / GCC **Industry:** Steel Structure / Architectural Metal / Façade **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Job Summary** The AutoCAD Draftsman – Metal Division is responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for structural steel and architectural metal works. The role involves close coordination with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth project execution. **Key Responsibilities** **Drafting & Design** * Prepare detailed **shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings** using AutoCAD. * Interpret **IFC drawings, design drawings, and specifications** for steel and metal works. * Produce detailed drawings for: * Structural steel elements * Staircases, handrails, and balustrades * Cladding support systems * Decorative and architectural metal works **Coordination** * Coordinate with project engineers, designers, and site teams for drawing inputs and clarifications. * Ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements and site conditions. * Incorporate consultant/client comments and revise drawings accordingly. **Material & Detailing** * Prepare **cutting lists, material take-offs, and BOQs** from drawings. * Provide accurate dimensions and details for fabrication and installation. **Compliance & Quality** * Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and codes. * Maintain proper drawing documentation, revisions, and version control. **Requirements** * Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or Drafting. * Minimum **3–7 years of experience** in steel or architectural metal drafting. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** (2D is mandatory; 3D is an advantage). * Strong knowledge of **metal fabrication processes and detailing standards**. * Experience in UAE/GCC projects preferred. **Skills** * Strong technical drawing and detailing skills * Good understanding of fabrication and installation processes * Attention to detail and accuracy * Time management and ability to meet deadlines * Communication and coordination skills **Preferred Software Skills** * AutoCAD (mandatory) * Tekla Structures (preferred) * SolidWorks / Inventor (added advantage) **Preferred Experience** * Structural steel and architectural metal works * Façade and cladding support systems * Shop drawing preparation and approvals * Coordination with production/workshop teams Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
