Unleash your talent and redefine what’s possible. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AV Technical Manager, to join our team! **Job Description:** As an AV Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, engineering, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of all audio, video, projection, show control and programming, and interactive elements within rides, shows, and attractions. You will ensure that AV systems support creative intent, meet technical requirements, comply with safety standards, and are delivered in line with project schedules. **What You’ll Be Doing:** * Leading the design, engineering, and delivery of audio, video, projection, show lighting, themed lighting, interactive elements, show control, and programming. * Managing vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams through design, fabrication, testing, installation, integration, and commissioning phases. * Coordinating with show designers, engineers, contractors, and other vendors to ensure seamless integration of technical systems. * Developing and maintaining technical documentation including drawings, schematics, control diagrams, and specifications. * Overseeing installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of show systems, ensuring compliance with project timelines, safety regulations, and quality standards. * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during design, installation, and live operation phases. * Ensuring all technical solutions are compatible with ride systems, automation, special effects, AV systems, and control software. * Supervising technical staff, contractors, and subcontractors on-site as needed. * Conducting risk assessments and ensuring all technical operations comply with local, national, and international safety standards. * Supporting training of operations personnel on technical aspects of show operation and maintenance. **What Required Skills You’ll Bring:** * Minimum 8–10 years of experience in themed attractions, show mechanical and special FX, show audio, video and lighting, show control and programming, and rides and attraction AV, with proven leadership in delivering international large-scale themed projects. * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Knowledge of and adherence to international standards such as ASTM, EN, and ISO, as well as local codes for safety and performance. **What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:** * Experience in integrated show and ride system environments with multi-discipline coordination.
