Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant at Cardoo Technologies is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role plays a key part in managing financial reporting, cost control, and compliance within a dynamic tech and retail-driven environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and supervise all accounting activities, including AP, AR, and General Ledger * Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts * Monitor company financial performance and provide actionable insights to management * Oversee cost accounting, inventory management, and expense control (especially for production and technology costs) * Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards * Handle tax filings, audits, and financial reviews * Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial planning * Collaborate with different departments to support business growth and cost optimization Ensure accurate and efficient use of ERP systems (Odoo) **Requirements** **Requirements** * Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail, technology, or consumer electronics industries * Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis * Solid knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management * Hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo * Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements * Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills * Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities * Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally * Proven track record and good reputation within the retail field **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred **Benefits** * Competitive salary and compensation package * Career growth opportunities within a fast-growing company * Exposure to strategic and high-level financial decision-making * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Stability with structured working hours (5 days/week, weekends off) * Opportunity to work in the New Cairo business hub
