Chief Accountant – Civil Construction (10+ Years UAE Experience)

Job Description We are seeking an experienced **Chief Accountant** with a strong background in the civil construction industry and over 10 years of UAE experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, with a focus on project-based accounting within construction. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and payroll * Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting * Handle **project accounting for civil construction projects** * Monitor cash flow, cost control, and project profitability * Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT * Coordinate with auditors and manage audits * Lead and supervise the accounting team Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance * Minimum **10+ years of UAE experience** * ✅ **Mandatory: Proven experience in civil construction industry** * Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control * Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle ERP * Experience in VAT filing and financial compliance * Strong leadership and analytical skills Job Details * Location: UAE * Industry: Civil Construction * Employment Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
