Chief Accountant

Chief Accountant We are seeking a highly experienced **Chief Accountant** to lead and manage the organization’s accounting operations. The role will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with regulations, and support strategic financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the full accounting cycle including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets * Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements * Ensure compliance with IFRS / local accounting standards and tax regulations * Manage financial closing processes and ensure timely reporting * Supervise and mentor the accounting team * Coordinate with auditors and manage external audit processes * Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting * Implement and improve accounting systems, controls, and procedures * Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies * Support CFO in financial strategy and reporting Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA preferred) * 7–10+ years of experience in accounting, with leadership exposure * Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Odoo, etc.) * Excellent knowledge of financial reporting and taxation * Strong analytical and leadership skills Preferred * Experience in multi-entity or regional operations Pay: E£30,000.00 - E£35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
