Chief Accountant / Senior Accountant

We are looking for a **Chief Accountant / Senior Accountant** with strong experience in the **construction and joinery industry**, particularly in **job costing and project costing**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate cost tracking, and supporting project profitability. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and oversee daily accounting operations * Handle **job costing and project costing** for ongoing projects * Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Ensure proper allocation of costs to respective projects * Reconcile accounts, general ledger, and bank statements * Coordinate with project managers for cost control and financial planning * Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies * Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes * Assist in audits and prepare required documentation * Analyze financial data and provide insights to management **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Proven experience in **construction / joinery industry (mandatory)** * Strong knowledge of **job costing and project costing** * Driving license **(Mandatory)** * Minimum experience: * **Chief Accountant:** 7–10 years * **Senior Accountant:** 4–6 years * Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines **Preferred Qualifications:** * Professional certification such as **ACCA / CPA / CMA** * Experience working in UAE-based companies * Knowledge of ERP systems Work Location: In person
