CIVIL ENGIEER (DM LICENSE)

Job Title **Civil Engineer** Location Dubai, United Arab Emirates Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and experienced **Civil Engineer** to plan, design, supervise, and manage construction projects in compliance with **Dubai Municipality regulations**, **UAE construction codes**, and international standards. The ideal candidate must hold a **valid Society of Engineers (SOE) license** and be eligible for or already approved by **Dubai Municipality**. Key Responsibilities * Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects (residential, commercial, or infrastructure). * Ensure all works comply with **Dubai Municipality**, **UAE codes**, and project specifications. * Review and approve structural, civil, and shop drawings. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government authorities. * Conduct site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and timelines. * Prepare technical reports, method statements, and project documentation. * Monitor project progress, cost control, and material quality. * Ensure compliance with **health, safety, and environmental (HSE)** standards. * Liaise with Dubai Municipality and other relevant authorities for approvals, inspections, and permits. * Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in **Civil Engineering** from an accredited university. * **Valid Society of Engineers (SOE) license – UAE (mandatory)**. * **Dubai Municipality approval or eligibility** (preferred/mandatory as per role). * Minimum **X years of experience** in civil construction within the UAE. * Strong knowledge of **Dubai Municipality regulations**, local authority requirements, and UAE construction standards. * Proficiency in engineering software such as **AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera, MS Project**, and MS Office. * Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure. Preferred Skills * Experience working on projects approved by Dubai Municipality. * Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws. * Site supervision and authority coordination experience. * Leadership and team management skills.
