**Job Description: Civil Engineer** **Location:** Doha international **Employment Type:** Full-time /Part-time **Reports To:** [Project Manager / Senior Civil Engineer / Director of Engineering] **Position Summary** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Civil Engineer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, water systems, and buildings. You will ensure that all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while adhering to local regulations and environmental standards. **Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Planning** * Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments. * Draft and review blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans using **AutoCAD**, **Civil 3D**, or similar software. * Perform complex engineering calculations for load-bearing structures, earthwork, drainage, and material stress. * Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASTM). **Project Management** * Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and government agencies. * Prepare cost estimates, material quantities (takeoffs), and project schedules. * Manage project budgets and track progress against milestones. * Obtain necessary permits and ensure all legal requirements are met. **Construction Oversight** * Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards (OSHA). * Conduct site inspections, material testing, and quality control checks. * Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues and design modifications. * Review and certify project deliverables, including as-built drawings. **Documentation & Communication** * Prepare and present project reports, technical proposals, and status updates to stakeholders. * Maintain accurate records of changes, RFIs (Requests for Information), and submittals. * Liaise with the public and regulatory bodies as needed. **QualificationsEducation** * **Bachelor’s degree** in Civil Engineering or a related field. * **Master’s degree** (preferred but not required). **Certifications & Licenses** * **Engineer-in-Training (EIT)** or **Professional Engineer (PE)** license required (or ability to obtain within [6-12] months). * LEED certification (a plus). * OSHA 10/30-hour certification (a plus). **Experience** * 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in [specific area: land development / transportation / water resources / structural]. * Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. **Technical Skills** * Proficient in: **AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000, HEC-RAS, or EPANET** (match to your needs). * Strong knowledge of geotechnical, structural, and hydraulic engineering principles. * Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., **Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6**). **Soft Skills** * Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking. * Strong written and verbal communication. * Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively. * Detail-oriented with high regard for safety and quality. الراتب المدفوع: QAR٢٨٠٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ لكل عام موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
