CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER

A **Civil Project Engineer** with infrastructure expertise is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and managing civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, drainage systems, and other large-scale infrastructure works. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and regulatory standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee infrastructure construction projects from initiation to completion * Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders * Supervise site activities and ensure compliance with design and safety standards * Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets * Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues on-site * Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and environmental standards * Prepare reports, progress updates, and documentation for management * Assist in tendering, procurement, and contract administration * Implement quality control and assurance procedures **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory) * **7+ years of experience in civil/infrastructure projects** (Mandatory) * Experience in roads, highways, bridges, drainage, or utilities projects * Knowledge of construction methods and materials * Familiarity with project management tools and engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, etc.) * Understanding of local construction codes and standards (UAE/GCC experience preferred if applicable) **Key Skills** * Strong project management and coordination skills * Technical knowledge of civil infrastructure systems * Problem-solving and decision-making ability * Leadership and site supervision skills * Communication and stakeholder management * Time management and multitasking under pressure **Preferred Certifications (Optional)** * PMP (Project Management Professional) * AutoCAD / Civil 3D certification * Health & Safety certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH preferred in GCC roles) **Work Environment** * Combination of office-based planning and on-site supervision * Requires frequent site visits and coordination with construction teams * May involve working under tight deadlines and challenging site conditions ALL FACILITIES AS PER UAE LAW Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Experience: * CIVIL PROJECT ENGINEER: 7 years (Required) License/Certification: * DRIVING LICENSE (Required) Location: * Abu Dhabi (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
