We are looking for a precision-driven expert to help our clients achieve world-class color consistency and automation. **The Role** We are seeking a **Color Management Support Engineer** to lead press standardization and workflow automation projects. You will be responsible for moving clients from "visual estimation" to "data-driven" printing. This role requires a high degree of responsibility, as you will be managing time-bound projects that directly impact the quality and output of large-scale printing operations across Offset, Flexo, and Gravure. **Key Responsibilities** * **Press Standardization:** Implement and maintain international printing standards (ISO, Fogra, G7) across various printing platforms (Offset, Flexo, Gravure). * **Color Profiling & Calibration:** Perform advanced finger-printing, linearization, and ICC profiling for monitors, proofers, and presses. * **Workflow Automation:** Design and implement end-to-end color-managed workflows, integrating prepress software with press room hardware for seamless data flow. * **Press Room Optimization:** Audit and optimize ink-key presetting, closed-loop color control systems, and spectrophotometric measurement processes. * **Project Management:** Lead time-bound standardization projects with extreme precision, ensuring all deliverables meet technical specifications and client deadlines. * **GCC Travel & Support:** Provide on-site expert consultancy and troubleshooting across the UAE and the wider GCC region. * **Documentation:** Maintain detailed project reports and technical logs within **Microsoft Dynamics** to track standardization benchmarks and client progress. **Qualifications** * **Education:** **Diploma or Degree in Printing Technology** or a relevant Science stream. * **Experience:** 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Color Management, Prepress, or a Press Room environment (Offset, Flexo, or Gravure). * **Certifications:** **Fogra (DPES/PSO) or G7 Expert/Professional certification** is a significant advantage. * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with spectrophotometers, color servers, and RIP software (e.g., GMG, Esko, EFI). * **Soft Skills:** Ability to work under pressure in time-bound environments; high level of responsibility and "ownership" of project results. * **Mobility:** Must be willing to **travel extensively across the GCC**.
