Design and Estimation Engineer

**Job Title: Design & Estimation Engineer – Fire Protection Systems** **Location:** UAE **Experience:** Minimum 2 years (UAE experience required) **Job Overview:** We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Design & Estimation Engineer with proven experience in fire protection systems. This role involves preparing system designs, developing accurate cost estimates, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Create detailed design drawings and layouts for fire protection systems, including fire alarm, fire fighting, and sprinkler systems. * Analyze project specifications, tender documents, and BOQs to develop accurate and competitive cost estimations. * Visit project sites to assess requirements, gather necessary data, and coordinate with clients and consultants. * Prepare and submit material submittals in line with project specifications and UAE Civil Defense approvals. * Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source quotations, technical data, and required approvals. * Assist the project execution team by providing technical guidance and clarifications during implementation. * Ensure all designs and estimates align with NFPA standards and local regulatory requirements. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. * At least 2 years of relevant experience within the UAE, specifically in fire protection systems. * Solid understanding of NFPA codes and UAE Civil Defense regulations. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools. * Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills. * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. **Benefits:** * Attractive salary package based on experience * Exposure to a variety of fire protection projects * Supportive and growth-oriented work environment Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month Experience: * Fire & Safety: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
