Draftsman

**Job Purpose** The Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and designs based on specifications provided by engineers and architects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and detailed designs using AutoCAD and other drafting software. * Work from rough sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers/architects. * Revise drawings based on feedback and design changes. * Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and comply with industry and company standards. * Maintain an organized library of drawings, records, and documentation. * Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams for clarification and design implementation. * Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and presentation layouts. * Ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines. **Qualifications & Requirements** * Diploma/Certification in Drafting, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Draftsman in [construction/MEP/architectural/interior fit-out, etc.]. * Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design software is an advantage. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings. * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to manage multiple drawings and meet strict deadlines. **Skills & Competencies** * Technical drawing and drafting expertise. * Strong visualization and design interpretation skills. * Time management and organizational abilities. * Knowledge of industry codes and standards. * Proactive and detail-oriented approach.
