Basic Position Information * Position Title: Electrical Engineer * Department: Installation & Construction Department * Work Location: Ruwais Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi * Number of Vacancies: 1 * Nationality: Expatriate 2. Job Responsibilities (Optional / Adjustable) * Independently prepare, revise and submit general and special electrical construction plans for approval. * Be responsible for the schedule, quality, safety and cost control of the electrical discipline. * Prepare material plans and procurement requisitions, and control material waste and loss. * Organize subdivision acceptance, integrated commissioning and final acceptance of electrical works. * Supervise and manage electrical construction activities on site. * Assist in liaison with local authorities, properly respond to their requirements, answer inquiries from inspectors, and put forward rectification suggestions. * Complete other tasks assigned by the superior. 3. Job Requirements (Optional / Adjustable) 3.1 Basic Requirements * Major: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Electrical Engineering or related fields. * Education: College diploma or above. * Work Experience: At least 3 years of on-site electrical construction management experience in construction companies; experience in on-site electrical management for ADNOC projects is preferred. * Age: Under 50 years old. 3.2 Professional Competence * Familiar with electrical systems in building and petrochemical projects: * Power Systems: HV/LV power distribution, power supply, lighting, lightning protection & earthing, fire-fighting power supply, emergency lighting * Low-voltage Systems: Fire alarm system, CCTV, generic cabling, building automation system and other basic coordination works * Able to read and review electrical construction drawings, conduct drawing reviews, identify design issues and process design changes. * Familiar with selection, inspection and acceptance of electrical materials and equipment: cables, distribution boards/cabinets, bus ducts, cable trays, light fixtures, switches & sockets, fire-fighting electrical equipment, etc. * Familiar with on-site temporary power layout: preparation of temporary power plans, inspection, three-level distribution with two-level protection, and on-site electrical safety management. * Able to conduct technical disclosure, side supervision, process acceptance and concealed work acceptance. * Familiar with electrical construction specifications and acceptance standards in the UAE (standards, ADNOC standards), as well as fire acceptance and final acceptance procedures. 3.3 Comprehensive Qualities * Good communication, coordination and teamwork skills. * Responsible, strong execution, able to work under pressure. * Strong learning ability and problem-solving capability. * Honest, reliable and with good professional ethics. * Proficient in CAD for drawing review, minor revisions, detailing and temporary power layout. * Skilled in using Office software to prepare construction plans, technical disclosures, schedules and variation documents. 3.4 Additional Requirements * Language: Proficient in English, able to use English as working language. * Able to work long-term on construction site and accept overtime work.
