ELV Project Coordinator

**Job Title: ELV Project Coordinator** **Job Summary:** The ELV Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and delivery of ELV system projects such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm, and AV systems. This role ensures smooth coordination between engineers, technicians, vendors, and clients to deliver projects on time, within budget, and as per technical and regulatory standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in planning and scheduling ELV projects (installation, testing, commissioning) * Coordinate with ELV engineers, site supervisors, and technicians * Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients for project updates and approvals * Track project progress and ensure timelines are met * Prepare and maintain project documentation (shop drawings, BOQs, submittals, RFIs) * Coordinate material procurement and delivery with suppliers * Monitor inventory and ensure availability of ELV components * Support project billing, invoicing, and cost tracking * Schedule site inspections, testing, and handover activities * Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence for fire alarm systems) * Identify delays or risks and escalate to the Project Manager * Maintain clear communication between office and site teams **Required Skills & Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field * 1–3 years of experience in ELV systems or construction coordination * Knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, PA, Fire Alarm) * Familiarity with drawings and technical documentation * Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) * Experience with AutoCAD (basic level preferred) * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Good communication and coordination abilities **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in UAE/GCC ELV projects * Knowledge of authority approvals (e.g., Civil Defence, Etisalat/DU standards) * Familiarity with project tools like MS Project or Primavera * Certification in project management (CAPM/PMP) is a plus **Key Competencies:** * Attention to detail * Time management and scheduling * Technical coordination * Problem-solving mindset * Ability to work under pressure in site environments **Working Conditions:** * Mix of office and site work * Frequent coordination with multiple project sites * Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines **Reporting To:** Project Manager / ELV Project Engineer Job Type: Permanent Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
