Estimation Engineer

**Duties & Responsibilities** * Prepare detailed **cost estimates** and **tender/bid documents** for construction and interior fit-out projects * Develop and submit **material submittals**, logs, and related documentation * Obtain and analyze **comparative quotations** from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors * Review subcontractor proposals to ensure alignment with **project scope and specifications** * Raise **RFIs (Requests for Information)** and clarification requests for accurate pricing and scope coverage * Interpret drawings, specifications, and engineering documents to prepare **BOQs, material lists, and tender documents** * Conduct **site visits** and prepare reports based on site conditions * Coordinate with the design team to support **initial drawings and concepts** when required * Prepare **method statements** for BOQ items when needed * Identify and evaluate cost factors , including **materials, labor, equipment, and production time** * Analyze technical documents and data sheets to ensure **complete and accurate estimation** * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Estimation Manager / Project Manager **Skills & Competencies** * Strong knowledge of **construction and interior fit-out materials, methods, and costing** * Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings and technical documents** * Expertise in **BOQ preparation, estimation, and tendering** * Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills * Experience in evaluating **subcontractor quotations and technical proposals** * Proficiency in **MS Office (Excel, Word)** and estimation software * Excellent communication and coordination abilities * Ability to work under pressure and meet **tight deadlines** **Qualifications & Requirements** * **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field * **Experience:** 3–5 years in estimation (construction / interior fit-out) * **Market Knowledge:** Familiarity with UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors is an added advantage Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
