Estimation Engineer - Road Marking & Traffic Signage

**Estimation Engineer – Road Marking & Traffic Signage (UAE)** The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for road marking and traffic signage projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and BOQs in line with UAE authority standards (RTA, Municipality, etc.) to ensure competitive and compliant bids. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze **tender documents, drawings, and specifications** for road marking and signage works * Prepare **detailed cost estimates** including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting * Perform **quantity take-offs** for road markings, traffic signs, and related works * Prepare and review **BOQs (Bill of Quantities)** * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors * Prepare **technical and commercial tender submissions** * Ensure compliance with **UAE authority standards (RTA, Dubai Municipality, etc.)** * Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams * Identify **cost-saving opportunities and project risks** * Maintain cost database and historical records for future tenders * Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits if required **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field * **3–7 years of UAE experience in estimation (road marking / signage / infrastructure)** * Strong knowledge of **road marking materials** (thermoplastic, cold paint, reflective beads, etc.) * Experience in **traffic signage estimation and BOQ preparation** * Proficiency in **AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced), and estimation software** * Understanding of **UAE tendering procedures and authority requirements** Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: AED10.00 - AED20.00 per month Work Location: In person
