Estimator Quantity Surveyor

**Overview** ------------ An Estimator is responsible for preparing pre-contract cost estimates, Bills of Quantities, and tender documentation for large-scale infrastructure projects. They support procurement strategies, conduct market analysis, and manage risk and value assessments to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with project objectives. **Your role** ------------- * Lead the preparation of pre-contract cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking for large-scale infrastructure projects. * Develop and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and pre-tender estimates using CESSM and other industry standards. * Support the development of procurement strategies, including packaging, tendering, and contract formation. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment between design intent and cost objectives. * Prepare and review tender documentation, including pricing schedules and contract conditions. * Conduct market analysis and engage with supply chain to inform cost data and procurement planning. * Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions. * Assisting in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks. * Attendance and representation at commercial meetings. **About you** ------------- * 8 Years relevant experience. Estimator shall have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Middle East. * Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. * Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. * Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills. * Strong background in pre-contract quantity surveying for infrastructure and civil engineering projects including masterplanning, preference for major international events experience (e.g. expos, sports events, cultural festivals). * Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. **Rewards & benefits** ---------------------- Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
