Facade Engineer

**Job Title:** **Facade Engineer** We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as an Façade Engineer, with experience as Site Engineer/QAQC Engineer in construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, testing and execution of building façade systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct on-site façade testing and inspections to assess construction quality and performance. * Perform and supervise field tests such as water penetration, air infiltration, and structural performance testing. * Collect, analyse, and interpret on-site data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. * Prepare clear, comprehensive test reports documenting findings, deviations, and compliance status. * Ensure all façade works comply with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues related to façade systems. * Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to façade works. * Monitor installation activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures and quality standards. * Apply QA/QC best practices to maintain high-quality standards across all projects. * Identify defects/non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in site safety audits. * Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and façade technologies. **Qualifications:** · **Education:** B.E / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering · **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in façade engineering, NDT, or construction QA/QC roles · Strong knowledge of façade systems (curtain walls, cladding, glazing systems, etc.) · Familiarity with international standards (ASTM, BS, EN) and local UAE regulations · Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications · Good report writing and documentation skills · Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team · Good communication and coordination skills **Preferred / Added Advantages:** * Valid UAE Driving License * Experience in façade testing (onsite & laboratory) * Knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant engineering software * Experience working on high-rise or complex façade projects in the UAE Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per hour Application Question(s): * Do you have a valid UAE driving license? * Do you have experience in performing and supervising field tests such as water penetration, air infiltration, and structural performance testing?
