Finance Controller

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented **Finance Controller/Senior Accountant** to oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations across multiple business divisions, with a primary focus on our restaurant operations. This role requires strong expertise in **UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and multi-entity accounting**, along with the ability to handle complex financial structures and ensure compliance across diverse industries. **Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management** * Manage end-to-end accounting for multiple entities, including: * Restaurant operations (primary focus) * Interior design & fit-out division * Foodstuff trading division * Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) * Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations * Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management **Taxation & Compliance** * Handle **UAE VAT filings**, reconciliations, and compliance * Manage **UAE Corporate Tax** requirements, filings, and documentation * Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and audit requirements * Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required **Reporting & Analysis** * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management * Support budgeting, costing, forecasting, and financial planning * Track and analyze cost structures across different business units **Process Improvement & Controls** * Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls * Identify inefficiencies and improve financial systems and workflows * Ensure accuracy in POS, cash handling, and revenue reporting (especially in F&B) **Team & Coordination** * Supervise and guide junior accounting staff * Coordinate with operations teams across all divisions * Ensure timely and accurate reporting from all departments **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * Professional qualification preferred (**ACCA / CA / CPA**) * **8–10 years of accounting experience in the UAE** * Strong experience in: * UAE VAT & Corporate Tax * Multi-entity accounting * F&B / Restaurant accounting (highly preferred) * Proficiency in multiple accounting software and MS Excel * Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills **What We’re Looking For** * Someone **hands-on** who can manage both strategy and execution * Ability to work in a **fast-paced, multi-business environment** * High attention to detail and accountability * Strong problem-solving mindset **Why Join Us** * Opportunity to work across **diverse and growing business divisions** * High ownership and visibility within the organization * Dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment Job Type: Permanent Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have experience in handling accounting for restaurants?
