Fire Fighting Engineer

**Key Responsibilities** * Design and review fire fighting systems including **sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, FM‑200, NOVEC, and fire pumps**. * Prepare technical drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material submittals. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure compliance with project specifications. * Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress. * Ensure all fire protection systems meet **UAE Civil Defense** and **NFPA** standards. * Prepare documentation for Civil Defense approvals, inspections, and final certifications. * Support testing & commissioning activities for fire fighting and fire suppression systems. * Review shop drawings, method statements, and project reports. * Assist in project planning, material estimation, and procurement coordination. **Qualifications & Experience** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. * **5–10 years** of experience in fire fighting system design and site execution (UAE experience preferred). * Strong knowledge of **NFPA codes**, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Civil Defense procedures. * Experience with hydraulic calculation software. * Familiarity with MEP coordination and construction workflows. * Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills. **Skills Required** * Fire fighting system design & execution * NFPA & UAE Fire Code compliance * Civil Defense approval process * Hydraulic calculations * Site supervision & quality control * Testing & commissioning * Technical documentation & reporting Work Location: In person
