HSE MANAGER / HSE ENGINEER

**Selection Criteria for HSE Manager – Decagon Scaffolding** **Minimum Education Qualification** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (with regular college study) from a reputed university **Professional / Technical Qualifications** **Minimum one of the following:** * NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH IGC or equivalent * Any other HSE certifications **Desirable:** * Lead Auditor – ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 or equivalent * Incident Investigation techniques * Additional HSE trainings / certifications will be an added advantage **Must to Have - Valid UAE Driving License** **Work Experience** * Minimum 8–10 years of experience, out of which minimum 5 years in managing HSE in safety-critical industries (Oil & Gas, Power Plant, Petrochemical, Construction, etc.) * Power plant construction and commissioning knowledge / mechanical and electrical experience will be an added advantage **Skills and Competencies** * Sound understanding of HSE legislative requirements * Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills * Broad knowledge and experience in risk assessments and audit processes * Ability to develop tracking systems for monitoring progress and ensuring findings are recorded and followed up until close-out * Support in achieving project objectives and KPIs * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Develop and implement Project HSE Plan for the work scope * Competency in Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and implementation * Competency in HSE Management Systems * Awareness of incident / accident investigation techniques * Capability to develop and implement emergency response plans, including drills and exercises * Worker welfare requirements awareness and management * HSE reporting: Daily / Weekly / Monthly and Ad-hoc reporting * Conduct HSE trainings (general and task-specific) * HSE site monitoring and improvement of practices (Working at Height, Scaffolding, Lifting, Excavation, etc.) * Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and ensure timely close-out * Stakeholder engagement and management Job Type: Full-time Pay: From AED9,000.00 per month Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * oil and Gas : 5 years (Required) License/Certification: * UAE DRIVING LICENSE (Required) Work Location: In person
