HSE Officer (Health, Safety & Environment)

Job Title: HSE Officer (Health, Safety & Environment) Location: Dubai, UAE Project Type: Shopping Mall Development Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and qualified HSE Officer to join our team for a mall construction project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with UAE regulations and project standards. Key Responsibilities: \* Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and client requirements \* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits \* Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures \* Monitor work activities to ensure safe practices are followed at all times \* Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for workers and staff \* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports \* Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports as required \* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors on safety matters \* Ensure proper use of PPE and enforce safety protocols on-site \* Promote a strong safety culture across the project Requirements: \* Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field/ certification \* Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in construction or mall/large commercial projects \* Relevant certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are mandatory \* Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards \* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \* Ability to work independently and handle site safety responsibilities effectively Preferred Skills: \* Experience working on large-scale commercial or mall projects in the UAE \* Strong observation and problem-solving abilities \* Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experience How to Apply: Interested candidates may submit their CV along with relevant certifications.
