HVAC Design Engineer

**WE ARE HIRING!!** **POSITION: HVAC Design Engineer** The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and developing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for interior fit-out projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of HVAC systems to ensure efficient and compliant project execution. **Key Responsibilities** Design and develop HVAC systems, including load calculations, ducting layouts, and equipment selection. Prepare detailed HVAC design drawings, schematics, and specifications. Perform heat load calculations and system sizing using appropriate software. Coordinate HVAC designs with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation. Ensure all HVAC designs comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and industry standards. Provide technical support to project and site teams during installation and execution. Conduct site inspections and verify installation as per design requirements. Identify and resolve design and coordination issues in a timely manner. **Requirements** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in HVAC design, preferably within interior fit-out projects. Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, Elite, or similar) and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, codes, and standards. Ability to perform accurate load calculations and equipment selection. Good knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
