Junior Engineer MEP

**Job Title: Junior MEP Engineer** **Job Summary** Supports the MEP engineering team in the design, coordination, supervision, and documentation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across construction projects, gaining hands-on exposure to all phases of project delivery from design through to commissioning. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist senior MEP engineers in the design and review of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems * Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project specifications * Coordinate MEP works on site with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines * Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress against programme * Raise and track RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications * Support preparation of technical reports, inspection records, and commissioning documentation * Assist in clash detection and BIM coordination where applicable * Ensure all MEP works comply with DEWA, DM, Civil Defence, and other UAE authority requirements * Maintain up-to-date drawing registers, submittals logs, and site records * Liaise with consultants and client representatives under the guidance of senior engineers **Qualifications & Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering * 1–3 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in UAE construction * Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, and power distribution systems * Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit MEP; MS Office proficiency essential * Knowledge of UAE authority standards including DEWA, DM, and Civil Defence regulations * Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills * Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment * Good written and verbal communication skills in English **Employment Details** * Location: Dubai, UAE * Type: Full-Time * Reporting to: MEP Engineer / MEP Manager Job Type: Permanent Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
