Junior QS Engineer

**Maklad Design** is hiring a **Junior QS Engineer with UAE experience in interior fit-out projects.** We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate who can support cost estimation, BOQ preparation, procurement, and project cost control at an execution level. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fit-out works * Support cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking of projects * Assist in reviewing IFC drawings and extracting quantities * Monitor material usage, subcontractor costs, and site progress * Support procurement by coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors * Assist in preparation of progress valuations and payment applications * Help manage variations, claims, and cost reports * Maintain proper documentation for contracts, invoices, and reports * Coordinate with project managers and site teams for cost updates * Ensure timely and accurate reporting **Requirements** * 3+ years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects * Familiarity with construction drawings and quantity take-offs * Knowledge of UAE construction practices is an advantage **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field * Proficient in MS Excel (mandatory) * Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost control * AutoCAD knowledge preferred **Skills** * Strong attention to detail * Good numerical and analytical skills * Ability to work under deadlines * Strong coordination and communication skills * Problem-solving mindset * Team-oriented Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): * Please answer what we are asking below.
