CEQUENS is seekin a Junior Test Engineer to support the quality assurance process across web applications and APIs. You’ll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure reliable, scalable software **Key Responsibilities** * Design, write, and execute **test cases and test plans** * Perform **manual and automated testing** of web applications and APIs * Test backend services built with Node.js (RESTful APIs, microservices) * Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira * Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues * Write and maintain **automated test scripts** * Participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies (Agile/Scrum) * Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing * Assist in CI/CD pipeline testing processes **Requirements** * Good understanfing of **software testing principles** * Familiarity with **JavaScript and Node.js** * Understanding of **API testing** (REST, JSON) * Knowledge of tools like: * + Postman / Insomnia (API testing) + Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (automation) * Basic knowledge of **version control (Git)** * Understanding of **HTTP/HTTPS protocols**
