**Overview** ------------ AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Aviation Market Lead in Riyadh, KSA to drive aviation business growth, lead client relationships, and oversee bids and project delivery. The role requires strong business development expertise, deep knowledge of the Saudi aviation market, and proven experience in infrastructure consultancy. **Your role** ------------- * Working closely with the Middle East Aviation Market Director, you will support the wider regional Aviation Market growth strategy by providing leadership, based in Kingdom, of business development, client relationships, bid management and preparation, handover from bid stage to project set up and execution as well as live projects where required. * Develop your client network in the Kingdom, leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones where required. * Act as the main point of contact for our Aviation clients in the Kingdom through all project stages from bidding through to delivery. * Maximise the capabilities of existing resources in the Kingdom to deliver projects and support the identification of gaps as part of the strategic growth plan delivering against our five Aviation propositions consisting of: + Strategy and Planning. + Design and Engineering. + Delivery and Construction. + Testing Commissioning and ORAT. + Asset Management & Transformation. * Provide operational inputs to the Aviation Market Director and leadership team such as financial and utilisation metrics, up to date pipeline and bid status. * Market and opportunity analysis support. * Leads and opportunities generation. * Connect and meet potential new customers. * Fostering and strengthening existing relationships. * Maintaining a network of local partners where applicable to support project services delivery and capability. * Leadership and oversight on bid preparation. * Other general support to the Middle East Aviation Market Director and Senior Management where required. **About you** ------------- **Experience and Skills** * A proven track record of business development and delivery of projects with infrastructure and aviation clients in the Kingdom. * Strong networking, communication and relationship management skills leading to proven successful outcomes * Commercially focused, creative, confident, self-driven and inventive, able to originate commercial solutions, yet patient and tenacious as required. * Sensitive and appreciative of culture and challenges of working with clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the candidate will have the ability to listen and communicate complex commercial solution confidently yet sensitively with customers and colleagues with equal skill. **Desirable and Must Haves** * Knowledge of AtkinsRéalis an advantage. * Arabic Speaker, Saudi National is a big advantage. * Responsible for business development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for at least 5 years. * Previous Experience in airport and aviation related consultancy services or infrastructure related consultancy services is a must. * High knowledge of the KSA market and its dynamics (Airport and Airline developments, competitors, potential clients etc. * Presentable and professional. * Able and enjoys occasionally working under pressure. * Flexibility. * Experience of having participated in, or managed production of bids. * Experience of having carried out market and opportunity analysis. * Proven record in business development and related commercial mechanics as well as an ability to close deals. * Bachelor's degree is a must, preferably from a western university. * Have worked for multinatinational companies in the Kingdom is desirable. **Behavioural Competencies** * Self-starting, motivated and resourceful. * Ability to effectively manage their own time. * Strong delivery culture. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skill. * Ability to think outside the box' and generate new and innovative ideas. **Objectives** * Assist in development and demonstrate successful delivery of AtkinsRéalis growth plan. Success will be measured against target set out in the plan. * Business Development: Develop consistent and co-ordinated approach to winning work. * Support key account management plans for key clients in KSA, supporting the Middle East Aviation Market Director to identify main stakeholders and intelligence on upcoming projects for each key account. * Identify several new potential Clients/project opportunities within 12 months of commencing the role, resulting in proposals being submitted. * Within 12 months of commencing the role, raise the profile of AtkinsRéalis Aviation within Client organisations in the Kingdom where A) there is a visible pipeline of future work, and B) where AtkinsRéalis has no previous exposure, ensuring that AtkinsRéalis are correctly & formally pre-qualified and registered to receive RFP's'as and when they are released. * Within 3 months of commencing the role be able to independently follow up with Clients in
