Land Surveyor

**Position Overview** A Land Surveyor is responsible for measuring land, mapping boundaries, and providing data used in construction, engineering, and legal documentation. They ensure accuracy in land measurements and compliance with regulations. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct land and property surveys using tools like GPS, total stations, and leveling instruments * Measure distances, angles, and elevations accurately * Determine property boundaries and prepare boundary reports * Create maps, sketches, and survey reports * Analyze survey data and interpret legal documents (deeds, maps, titles) * Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams * Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations * Supervise field survey teams when required * Maintain and calibrate survey equipment **Required Skills & Competencies** * Strong knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment * Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD or GIS tools * Good mathematical and analytical skills * Attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to work outdoors in various conditions * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Problem-solving ability Work Location: In person
