Logistics Accountant

**Job Summary** We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Accountant with hands-on experience in **Fresa Gold (Freight ERP)** to manage financial operations within a freight forwarding environment. The role involves job costing, invoicing, vendor management, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and profitability across all logistics activities. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage **job costing** for air, sea, and land shipments in Fresa, ensuring all operational costs are accurately captured * Monitor **shipment profitability** and highlight discrepancies or margin leakages * Prepare and issue **customer invoices** as per agreed quotations and ensure correct **VAT application (5%)** * Process and verify **supplier invoices** (airlines, shipping lines, transporters, agents) * Perform **vendor reconciliations** and ensure timely payments * Monitor **accounts receivable**, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain aging reports * Handle **bank reconciliations** and support cash flow management * Generate financial reports such as job profitability, cost analysis, and revenue tracking from Fresa * Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT regulations** and assist during audits * Coordinate closely with operations and sales teams to ensure accuracy in financial data **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 1-2 years of experience in **logistics / freight forwarding accounting** * Mandatory experience in **Fresa Gold ERP** * Strong understanding of **job costing and freight charges** * Knowledge of **UAE VAT regulations** * Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting principles * Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month Experience: * FRESA: 1 year (Required) * LOGISTICS: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
