**Job Title:** Manufacturing Engineer – Designer (AutoCad/ SolidWorks) **Company:** Gilani Mobility **Department:** Engineering / Production **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Employment Type:** Full-time **Job Overview** Gilani Mobility is looking for a dedicated and detail-focused **Manufacturing Engineer – Designer** to contribute to the design, development, and production of automotive, mobility, and accessibility solutions. This role connects engineering design with manufacturing processes, ensuring that products are practical to produce, cost-efficient, and meet quality and safety standards. **Core ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering** * Create and refine mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD * Produce accurate manufacturing drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical documentation * Assist in product development from initial concept through to final production * Review designs and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and manufacturability * Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new or improved designs **Manufacturing Support** * Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are suitable for fabrication and assembly * Provide technical guidance during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning stages * Troubleshoot and resolve design-related production challenges * Contribute to process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness **Analysis & Compliance** * Perform basic engineering calculations and design evaluations as needed * Assist in equipment testing and performance assessments * Ensure all designs align with ISO 9001 standards and relevant engineering regulations * Maintain organized and updated engineering documentation with proper revision control **Coordination & Reporting** * Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Procurement departments * Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project-related documentation * Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives **Qualifications & Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline * Relevant experience in mechanical design and manufacturing engineering * Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD * Good understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly techniques * Experience in HVAC systems, automotive components, or mobility solutions is an advantage * Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards * Exposure to 3D printing or prototyping technologies is a plus * Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications **Work Environment** * Combination of factory floor and engineering office settings * Hands-on collaboration with production teams * Working hours in line with company policies **Compensation & Benefits** * Competitive salary package based on experience and qualifications * UAE visa and benefits provided in accordance with UAE labor law Job Type: Full-time Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
