Mechanical Engineer

Job description: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a wealth of industry knowledge. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable on-site visits, and attending site meetings and inspections. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate ideas, make recommendations, and negotiate project details with their team, subcontractors, and clients. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Preparing mechanical designs, and coordinating, and monitoring assigned engineering projects. 2. Capable of designing HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting Systems, LPG, and Smoke Systems. 3. Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications. 4. Prepare/Review quotations, variations, material, and technical submittals 5. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, main contractor and consultant 6. Prepare coordinated and detailed shop drawings for submission and site coordination 7. Perform engineering calculations to support design work 8. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors 9. Cooperating and communicating with the Project Manager and other project participants and collaborating with Senior Engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability 10. Conducting site inspections when required. 11. Flexible and can lead the work independently 12. Ability to manage multiple projects assigned and to work under pressure Requirements: 1. A minimum of 2-3 years of MEP Contracting knowledge and experience 2. Should Know design software, such as Autodesk Revit (MEP), AutoCAD, HAP 3. Valid U.A.E Driving license is a plus 4. Good knowledge and understanding of the Mechanical Engineering design and analysis. 5. Great written and verbal communication skills. 6. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design. 7.
