**Job Description**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector (Saudi National) to join our site supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform on-site mechanical inspections of equipment, systems, and components to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications and standards
* Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical installations, including piping, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery
* Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and potential issues during inspections
* Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records of findings
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve mechanical issues
* Verify that corrective actions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner
* Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical inspection
* Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as required
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all on-site activities
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical building services, including installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning
* Proven track record in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, gas, and fuel system inspections
* Previous experience in engineering consultancies is preferred
* Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and material specifications
* Strong proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques, quality control protocols, and industry compliance standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, and local Saudi codes)
* Skilled in using inspection, documentation, and reporting tools/software
* Solid understanding of construction sequencing and the project lifecycle
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve site issues efficiently
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and reporting
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail to maintain quality standards
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments
* Willingness to work across various project sites within Riyadh and, if required, across Saudi Arabia
