Job Announcement: Melting Furnace SupervisorCompany: Almas AluminumLocation: Arbat Industrial Area, SulaymaniyahDepartment: Production / Melting & CastingPosition Summary: Almas Aluminum is seeking a technically proficient Melting Furnace Supervisor to lead our melting and casting operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire production cycle—from raw material charging to the final homogenization and cutting of billets—ensuring strict adherence to metallurgical standards and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:Technical Oversight: Supervise furnace charging, monitor temperature cycles, and manage refining processes (fluxing/degassing).Production Management: Oversee the Homogenizing and Cutting machines to ensure billets meet precise technical dimensions and specifications.Quality Assurance: Verify chemical compositions and ensure all batches receive formal QC Approval before further processing.Operational Leadership: Directly supervise department employees and machines to ensure smooth 24/7 operations and minimize downtime.Safety Leadership: Enforce a "Zero Moisture" policy and the strict use of heat-resistant PPE (aluminized suits, face shields, etc.).Administrative Reporting: Input production data, fuel consumption, and cycle times into the ERP system and Microsoft Excel.Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Science.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an industrial production environment.Software: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP software for data-driven reporting.Leadership: Strong ability to manage shift teams and coordinate effectively with Maintenance and QC departments.How to Apply: Interested candidates who meet the above criteria are invited to submit their CV to:Email: [email protected] Deadline: 25/04/2026Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
