MEP Electrical Engineer

**Job Title: Electrical Engineer (MEP)** **Location: Dubai, UAE** **Position Type: Full-Time** **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare, review, and update electrical designs, drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications. * Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, fire alarm, and grounding/earthing. * Conduct electrical load estimation, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations. * Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (NEC, IEC, BS, local authority codes). * Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems. * Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with drawings and specifications. * Coordinate with MEP teams (Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing), civil/architectural teams, and consultants. * Attend technical and coordination meetings to ensure alignment of all trades. * Review material submittals, datasheets, and ensure they meet project requirements. * Assist in selecting materials, equipment, and vendors based on technical suitability. * Ensure all electrical works follow safety standards and local authority regulations.
