MEP Estimation Engineer

* Review architectural and engineering plans to determine scope and quantities of MEP systems * Estimate material quantities, labour hours and equipment costs using estimation software and market rates/regional pricing data * Prepare and submit competitive bids for tenders ensuring compliance with client requirements * Collaborate with Project Manager, engineer and procurement teams to align cost estimates with project goals * Obtain quotations, evaluate offers and define scope of work for MEP sub-contractors * Maintain estimation records, update pricing database and provide detailed cost breakdowns. * Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications. * Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes. * Develops bids for construction projects. * Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff. * Navigates and understands building codes. * Processes paperwork and travels to building sites as required. * Monitors construction processes. * Stays up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction. * Ability to navigate specifications and plans * Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects * Ability to handle multiple assignments at once * Knowledge of the latest building codes * Close attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proven Track record Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * 3-5 years experience in MEP estimation (3 years UAE) * Strong Analytical, planning and decision making skills * 2-4 years experience in MEP drafting especially in high-rise projects * Excellent communication and leadership qualities Skills * Knowledge of UAE specific standards (DEWA, ADDC, DMCC, etc) is highly valued * Technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting and electrical systems * Proficiency in AutoCad, estimation software, Revit MEP, BIM Tools and MS Office Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate: * Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * MEP Estimation: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
