MEP PURCHASER

**Job Summary** The MEP Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, equipment, and services related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with project specifications and company standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Identify and procure MEP materials such as HVAC equipment, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and related systems * Review technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to understand project requirements * Source reliable suppliers and subcontractors for MEP items * Request and evaluate quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and quality compliance * Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors * Issue purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for material requirements * Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards * Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance * Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking * Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures **Qualifications & Requirements** * 3–7 years of experience in MEP procurement or construction purchasing * Strong knowledge of MEP materials and systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) * Familiarity with BOQs, technical submittals, and project specifications * Good negotiation and vendor management skills * Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) * Strong organizational and communication skills **Preferred Skills** * Experience working in construction or contracting companies * Knowledge of local suppliers and market pricing * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Time management and multitasking ability **Key Competencies** * Negotiation & cost control * Attention to detail * Supplier relationship management * Problem-solving * Team coordination Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
