Network Engineer - Male

**Main Tasks:** **Network Management:** Design, configure, deploy, and maintain all core networking components including routers, switches, load balancers, and Wi-Fi networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN). **Security Architecture:** Implement and manage security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF). **Security Operations**: Monitor security systems and network traffic for anomalies, perform incident response, and lead efforts to mitigate and resolve security breaches. **Vulnerability Management:** Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify, prioritize, and remediate security weaknesses across the network and systems. **Policy & Compliance:** Develop, document, and enforce network and security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. **Authentication & Access:** Manage and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and services, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and access control lists (ACLs). **Monitoring & Logging:** Configure and optimize SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and network monitoring tools to ensure proactive threat detection and provide comprehensive audit logs. **Collaboration:** Work with the infrastructure and cloud teams to secure hybrid and cloud environments, integrating networking and security principles into all projects. **Qualification:** A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or Cybersecurity. **Experience:** · Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Network Administration, Information Security, or a combined role. · Networking Expertise: Deep knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), VLANs, and VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL). · Security Hardware/Software: Hands-on experience with major security vendor products (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point). · OS Knowledge: Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems in a networking context. · Troubleshooting: Expert-level diagnostic & troubleshooting skills for complex network and security incidents. · Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and configuration management. Certifications: Possession of or working towards relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP Security, etc.). **Skills and competencies:** · The ability to methodically diagnose and resolve complex, critical security and network issues under pressure. · Strictness is essential for reviewing logs, configuring security policies, and managing firewalls. · Strong verbal and written skills to document procedures, write security reports, and communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
