We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant with a strong background in payroll processing, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
**Job Summary :** The Payroll Accountant is responsible for managing and processing employee payroll in compliance with UAE labor laws. This role ensures accurate salary calculations, timely payments, and proper handling of deductions, benefits, and statutory requirements, especially for a large workforce typical in manpower supply companies.
**Key Responsibilities :**
* Process monthly payroll for employees, including wages, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
* Ensure compliance with **UAE Labour Law** and company policies.
* Manage and process payments through the **WPS (Wage Protection System).**
* Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
* Handle end-of-service benefits, leave salary, and final settlements.
* Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
* Coordinate with HR for employee data updates (new joiners, resignations, absences, etc.).
* Prepare payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
* Ensure timely bank transfers and salary disbursement.
* Handle employee queries related to payroll, salaries, and deductions.
* Support audits by providing necessary payroll documentation.
* Monitor compliance with visa, labor contracts, and payroll-related regulations.
**Requirements :**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum 3–5 years of payroll experience in UAE, preferably in manpower supply or contracting companies.
* Strong knowledge of **UAE Labour Law** and WPS.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar).
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to handle large workforce payroll.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Driving License is mandatory.
**Preferred Qualifications :**
* Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
* Experience handling payroll for 500+ employees.
* Familiarity with ERP systems.
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
